Courses & modules

Our training is built around a suite of core training modules that equip participants to understand the complexities of adaptation and resilience, and to design and implement effective adaptation actions.

Modules 1-2 provide the content for our Adaptation Literacy course, covering the fundamentals of climate science, global policy contexts, climate change impacts, adaptation, resilience and risk.

Modules 3-5 address the more technical aspects of adaptation scoping, design and implementation, covering topics including climate risk assessment, adaptation decision-making and governance, and adaptation monitoring, evaluation and learning.Together, Modules 1-5 provide the content for our Adapting to Climate Change course,

Other modules address the relationship between culture, heritage and adaptation; building local and community resilience; and long-term perspectives on adaptation. These are offered as stand-alone seminars or workshops and can be integrated into tailored training packages.

See the links below for more information about each module, and how to build your own training package.
