Garama 3C Ltd is a small consultancy firm based in Norwich UK, established in 2012. We provide consultancy and training services focused on climate change adaptation and resilience.
Our training promotes climate change adaptation literacy and aims to translate this into meaningful adaptation action. It draws on decades of experience in adaptation and resilience research and practice (see below). Our training is informed by our wider consultancy activities, detailed on the main Garama website. This site deals exclusively with our training services.
We deliver climate change adaptation and resilience courses, workshops, webinars, customised training packages, and one-to-one coaching, both online and in-person. Use the menu bar to explore our training services.
Who is our training for?
Our training is for anyone who wants to develop a deeper understand of how we can adapt to a world being transformed by climatic and environmental change. It equips participants with the knowledge and skills they need to understand adaptation, to design and deliver adaptation actions to address specific climate related hazards, impacts and risks, and to build long-term resilience in diverse contexts. We have delivered training to national and local government (in the UK and globally), multilateral organisations, research bodies, academic institutions, NGOs, donor agencies, the private sector, community groups, and the general public. The flexible, modular nature of our training content means that it can be adapted for a wide range of audiences.
Accreditation
Currently, our courses are not accredited to any recognised body. However, we are investigating the possibility of accreditation for future courses. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course.
