Since 2013, we have been providing training to individuals and organisations through our own in-house courses, bespoke training packages for clients, and training partnerships with other providers. Most of this training has been focused on adaptation, but we have also covered other climate-related topics.

Climate-KIC – partnering to develop and deliver training to startups on how to develop adaptation and resilience business models (2023-24)

Possitopia Festival, Norwich, UK – Workshop for local groups working on sustainability on Building resilience to climate risks in Norwich & Norfolk, with Climate Museum UK (December 2023)

Norad (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) – Development of training materials on adaptation practice and impacts for workshp in Oslo, in partnership with colleagues from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) (May 2022).

North Norfolk District Council (UK) – Presentation and discussion on climate change and North Norfolk at 2021 Environment Forum, including content on emissions, the COVID-19 pandemic, and sea-level rise.

Garama in-house training (UK) – development and delivery of 3-day course on Climate Change Adaptation & Mainstreaming, 2-day course on Monitoring & Evaluation for Climate Change Adaptation, and 5-day course on Adapting to Climate Change. Participants from DFID/FCDO, EIB, GCCA, GWP, ICC, IFAD, IMC, JICA, LTS, Pecares, SDC, UNIDO, UNDP & others (2013-2019, paused during COVID-19 pandemic)

MWH (now Stantec) – Development & delivery of 3-day training course in La Hulpe, Belgium, on adaptation & mainstreaming, with material on mitigation, energy and small island states for work with GCCA+ (November 2015)

Government of Mozambique – Development and delivery of 5-day course on climate change science, impacts and adaptation, with content of key sectors and adaptation M&E, for Ministry of Transport and Communications in context of Mozambique’s Spatial Development Programme (May 2015)
