Our Adaptation Literacy and Adapting to Climate Change courses are run online and in-person and are open to anyone. They equip you with a detailed understanding of climate change adaptation and resilience, and the knowledge and skills you need to integrate adaptation and resilience into your activities and operations.
Adaptation Literacy is run as a 2-day in-person course or online as six interactive webinars with three exercises, each of approximately 90 minutes duration. This course is designed to provide participants with a good general understanding of climate science, global policy contexts, key concepts relating to adaptation, and a basic understanding of what adaptation involves and how we do it.
Adapting to Climate Change is run as a 5-day in-person course or online as 11 interactive webinars with five exercises, each of approximately 90 minutes duration. This course incorporates and extends the content in the Adaptation Literacy course and is intended for those who need to engage with adaptation at a high level in their work, for example integrating adaptation into an organisation’s operations or working on specific adaptation and resilience initiatives.
In-person courses are run in Norwich, UK, where we are based, and will run on consecutive days. Online courses involve one or two sessions per week over a period of four to then weeks, depending on the course and delivery model.
